Jane's song Fighting Shadows is now available on all major streaming platforms.
A learning experience: two days ago, I noticed that I had uploaded the wrong version of "Fighting Shadows". I used the swap function of my distributor. But it appears that that didn't work as the incorrect version has gone online on the steaming services. For that reason, I have requested the distributor to remove the song. Once it has been removed, I'll upload the new correct version that sounds way better. As this may take a few days, I'll let you all know once the correct version is available. My apologies.

Just to be completely open about it, Jane Summerville is an virtual singer that helps me bring my (Mark van Setten) songs to life. I use several virtual artists as I want a voice that I feel best fit the style and content of each particular song.
Jane Summerville is the second virtual singer for which I have published songs. Jane Summerville has a nice Americana/Country style of voice which best lends itself to more up-tempo songs.
Her first single, Fighting Shadows, will be released on 23 January 2026. This song is about one of my own struggles, namely thinking things through way to much and imagining everything that can go wrong. I hope it resonates with you as much as it does with me.
