I am thrilled to share with you the launch of Joe Bristlecone’s website. Here you will find all my songs that feature his voice, the first male voice I have used.
Just to be completely open about it, Joe Bristlecone is an virtual singer that helps me bring my (Mark van Setten) songs to life. I use several virtual artists as I want a voice that I feel best fit the style and content of each particular song.
Joe Bristlecone is the third virtual singer for which I have published songs and the first male voice. Joe Bristlecone has a nice Americana/Country style of voice which best lends itself to more up-tempo songs.
His first single, I'm a Nerd, is now available on all major streaming platforms.
This song is about my struggle with liking things that people often associate with being a Nerd, like comic books, superhero movies, fantasy, science fiction, computers, and games. It used to be something to be ashamed of, but now I embrace it and don’t care what others think. I am no longer hiding it: I'm a Nerd.
